UEFA Competitions

Greenshield insures football clubs against non-qualification for UEFA competitions and guarantees a minimum income.

Greenshield purchases the uncertainty of UEFA competitions starting fees from football clubs for a risk adjusted offer price. Clubs will receive upfront liquidity, which can be used to strengthen the squad directly and increase the chances of qualification. If clubs fail to qualify for an UEFA competition, Greenshield will absorb the non-payment of the starting fee.

Insurance prices will be determined based on Greenshield’s risk models and offer clear advantages compared to conventional insurance companies.

Transfer Conditional Payments

Greenshield insures selling clubs in player transfers against non-performance of conditional transfer bonus clauses like non-relegation or UEFA qualification of buying clubs.

Greenshield purchases the conditional bonus clause from the selling club for a risk adjusted offer price. Clubs will receive upfront liquidity, which can be used to strengthen the squad directly. If the conditions for the bonus clause are not met, Greenshield will absorb the non-payment.

Insurance prices will be determined based on Greenshield’s risk models and offer clear advantages compared to conventional insurance companies.
